Cheshire-based ESL Biofuels has been manufacturing speciality chemicals since 1988 and can justifiably claim to be one of the country's leading pioneers of environmental fuel development.
Ten years ago we became the UK's first commercial producer of an environmental fuel alternative, biodiesel, and we have been supplying biofuels to hauliers, industry, local authorities and the emergency services ever since. Manufactured from genuinely sustainable feedstocks and supplied as a pure biodiesel or blended with ultra low sulphur diesel to suit vehicle warranty requirements, the biodiesel is a truly renewable product that has enjoyed continued success and now achieves annual sales of over 5 million litres.
ESL Biofuels has since gone on to develop an extended range of environmentally-friendly alternatives to mineral diesel for both the transport and commercial heating sectors, with overall sales in excess of 24 million litres annually.
Fully complying with British and European fuel standards and available through some of the country's leading fuel distributors, these biofuel products are now produced to a quality and on a scale that has attracted a broad range of industrial, local authority and blue chip clients.
