Developed using the same environmentally-friendly materials and production techniques as ESL Biofuels' biodiesel range, GreenFlame is the UK's first renewable heating oil.
Manufactured using renewable plant oils as well as traditional crude oils, and with a viscosity of 35 sec, GreenFlame is a direct alternative to traditional petroleum based heating oil for the commercial environment.
It too is oxygenated during the blending process to create a cleaner burning fuel which achieves 20% less carbon dioxide emissions, reducing pollution and making no net contribution to global warming.
Fully compliant to BS 2689, the British Approved Standard for heating oil, GreenFlame offers enormous commercial opportunities in applications such as factories, hotels and large public buildings which rely on significant quantities of traditional gas oil and where it can be used without modification to existing boiler systems.
GreenFlame is produced in bulk at ESL Biofuels' Cheshire plant and is available nationwide through some of the country's leading fuel distributors.
